Uncovering Students’ Ability in Writing Simple Sentences Using Pictures

The development of technology affects the education sector in urban and rural areas. Teachers-students areas find it difficult to apply for some reasons. Therefore, teachers must be more creative innovative learning-teaching process besides using technology, such as pictures. This research describes students' ability write simple English sentences type this is descriptive quantitative. respondents were tenth-grade students SMA Negeri 29 Halmahera Selatan, which consisted 13 males seven females. data collected through an sentence test consisting 4 Each student wrote five a picture. showed that mean score pictures 2.95, referring good category. recommends future investigate effectiveness media used areas' process.
